Dr.Tanaya Mishra has been appointed as Vice President and Head of Human resources by specialised pharmaceutical company Endo International plc (India).
By writing, “I’m excited to start my new journey and an exciting new beginning with Endo International plc as Vice President & Head of Human Resources (India),” Tanaya announced the news on social media.
With almost 25 years of experience in the field of human resources, Tanaya has established herself as a senior professional who is still actively involved and capable of effectively developing workforce plans while simultaneously keeping an eye on the needs of the business.
Dr.Tanaya has experience working for a variety of businesses and sectors, including those in the manufacturing, retail, BFSI, and IT/ITES verticals.
She focuses on quick workforce strategies supported by interactive practises with a future-focused technology that successfully accomplish corporate objectives. She has worked with numerous leading global corporations in seven different geographies and is renowned for her competency and ability in developing plans that take into account cultural ethics and diversity around the world.
She has successfully participated in the organisational and cultural dynamics of the business world with her insightful talents and workforce values, taking cultural change, ex-pat hiring, varied workforce planning, behavioural assessment, and other aspects under her wing.
Among many other honours, she received India’s Best CHRO Award in 2017 and was named one of Asia’s 40 Most Aspirational Women HR Leaders (People Matters) in 2018.
Dr.Tanaya Mishra previously worked for Strides as the company’s global chief human resources officer. She had previously served as Global CHRO at Essar. In this capacity, she effectively established a cross-functional quick action team to address COVID’s new normal, including effective support for the staff that was placed in quarantine and their families as well as technical enablement.
Dr.Tanaya Mishra has previously worked for prestigious companies like Accenture, JSW, ACC Limited, Shoppers Stop, Firstsource, and DHL, among others.
Tanaya Mishra graduated from Utkal University with a Master’s degree in P.M.I.R. and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Manpower Planning.
